Indemnity Insurance
It is a requirement that anyone carrying out assessments are covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance. Although many assessors will be covered by their employer’s insurance, anyone working privately should take out their own cover. We also recommend that if you are undertaking private teaching or training to be insured for your professional practice. The Dyslexia Guild have discussed these needs with a broker who is experienced in providing policies to education professionals and have negotiated discounted rates for our members.
