Dyslexia and Driving study - call for participants

Submitted by jbeechey on

This study aims to gather information from a lexical decision gamified task, a driving simulator task, and an eye-tracking task. It is based in Taylor Building, at Nottingham-Trent University (address below). We are focusing on both, dyslexic and typical drivers, holding a full driving license for manual cars. Participants will be guided by a researcher in charge throughout all the process, and their data will be completely anonymous. They will be explained everything in the beginning and will have to check a box in the computer where they will insert their demographic data to give us consent about participating in the whole experiment. Upon completing the experiment (about 90-100 minutes in total), they will be rewarded with a £20 Amazon discount voucher

This is the link to volunteer for the experiment:

We have very few time slots for now (there will be more in the near future), so it will work in a first-come-first-served basis. If there are no more slots available, feel free to leave your email in the form, or to write to lorena.arnal@ntu.ac.uk, and we will send you notice as soon as more time slots are available.

Address where the experiment is taking place: Taylor Building, 5LP, Chaucer St, Nottingham.

If you have any doubts or questions, please, do not hesitate to contact the Principal Investigator of this project, Dr. Lorena Arnal, at lorena.arnal@ntu.ac.uk. If you need to talk to Dr. Arnal's supervisor, please contact Prof. David Crundall at david.crundall@ntu.ac.uk. We will be happy to help!
