Part Time Job Vacancy – Specialist Literacy Teacher and Assessor to work in London schools

Submitted by jbeechey on

We are a growing team of specialist literacy teachers working in schools mainly in the borough of Lambeth.  The majority of our work is in primary settings but we also work in some secondary schools. We are looking to expand our team from September.

The role is a part-time position, (between 1-3 days - negotiable) and would be for one year in the first instance but may be extended beyond that. It is a teaching and assessing role, so teachers must hold the relevant qualifications – a Level 7 or above in SpLD (dyslexia), a current Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC), and a teaching qualification (QTS).  We may also consider a qualified teacher with a Level 5 for a teaching-only position.  The candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the primary age range.

If you are interested in finding out more about the role, then please send an expression of interest in the first instance, as well as your CV to: info@accesstoliteracy.co.uk
