Level 7 Assessor or APC holder vacancy

Learning2Succeed is looking for a Level 7 SpLD assessor who is either in-training, newly qualified, or an APC holder, to work part-time (hours to be negotiated) in a mutually supportive environment, as a self-employed associate. The successful candidate would be undertaking remote online diagnostic assessments using WJ-IV and K-TEA or online tutoring of secondary students. Further in-person diagnostic work is available, if convenient. This is usually in the Chesterfield area, but Learning2Succeed also sees clients from Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, and Bedfordshire.

The business currently covers the following areas:

·         Diagnostic assessment of dyslexia in all ages,

·         Educational diagnosis of dyspraxia and ADHD in adults

·         Tutoring school age students with dyslexia

·         Access Arrangements for GCSE and GCE examinations

·         Specialist Study Skills for university students

·         Specialist Mentoring for university students

Learning2Succeed is currently expanding into the following areas:

·         Specialist Study Skills for Autistic learners at university

·         Specialist Mentoring for Autistic learners at university

The successful candidate will be provided with client referrals, all necessary test materials, assistance in test administration, mentoring in the assessment and report writing process, a proof-reading service, self-employment business mentoring, as well as administration support as required. The opportunity to become a business partner responsible for the tuition of school age children and the diagnosis of dyslexia will be made available to the right candidate.
