Webinar: What's new in Access Arrangements: Extra time, transitional agreements and more
Due to the large demand for up to date information on Exam Access Arrangements, we are organising the webinar "What's new in Access Arrangements: Extra time, transitional agreements and more" to be held on Monday, 11 March, 2013 7:00 PM - 8:15 PM GMT + Q&A.
About: This webinar will cover the current academic year's changes and will include updates and additional interpretation of any further developments since September 2012.
The webinar will explore this year's changes, for those who currently carry out access arrangements. The main focus, naturally, will be on the altered evidence requirements for extra time: what the regulations state, the most useful tests to administer in order to gain the formal evidence needed, and the additional evidence that should be compiled by schools. It will also cover any remaining transitional agreements for pupils who have already had access arrangements earlier in their careers. It will also touch on latest developments in assessment tools; and identification of other SpLDs.
Note: This session presupposes basic familiarity with Access Arrangements.
Presenter: The webinar will be led by Dineke Austin, Lead Tutor for Dyslexia Action's Exams Access Arrangements course, an ex-examinations officer, and specialist teacher assessor carrying out access arrangement assessments herself.
