Postgraduate Scholarship Programme
This scheme enables Dyslexia Action to recruit qualified primary or secondary teachers who wish to work as a trainee in one of our Centres. Participants will undertake postgraduate specialist teacher training whilst working in one of Dyslexia Action’s regional centres. This will enable them to qualify as a Specialist Teacher/Assessor of dyslexia/SpLD. The programme provides participants with centre-based employment for a minimum of two years and enables them to study for either:
The Dyslexia Action Postgraduate Certificate in Structured Teaching Intervention for Dyslexia and Literacy (accredited by Middlesex University).
Or
The Dyslexia Action Postgraduate Diploma in Dyslexia and Literacy (accredited by Middlesex University) for those who already hold the above Certificate (Level 7 or equivalent).
