The Disability Equality Duty (2006) legally requires organisations such as hospitals, local government, colleges and universities to be proactive in ensuring that people with disabilities are treated fairly. To help us fulfil this duty we ask anyone applying for a course with Dyslexia Action who has a disability to let us know. We need to talk to you to clarify what adjustments you will be entitled to. We also encourage students with disabilities to give us feedback on all stages of the course so that we can anticipate others’ requirements better in the future.
If you would like to talk to the Training Department’s Disabilities Advisor before you apply please email trainingcourses@dyslexiaaction.org.uk or telephone +44 (0)1784 222304.
